Fortnite Birthday Party Decorations

There are plenty of elements that can be taken from the game and implemented into party decorations. Here are a few ideas and supplies you can use to give any room a Fortnite vibe.

*Fortnite Color Scheme

For the color scheme, you could go with yellow and blue, green and black as seen above. Colors like yellow and blue are great for representing items like the Supply drop box. Green and black work well with these colors and still go well with the theme as most of the terrain in the game is grassy. Black on the other hand is a great color for complimenting most bright colors.

*Fortnite balloons
As balloon decorations you could use these Fortnite latex balloons from ebay. Alternatively, you could use yellow latex balloons to make Supply drop boxes as seen in the photo above. To make this prop: firstly, wrap up a cardboard box with blue wrapping paper. Fill up a large yellow balloon with helium and attach four white ribbons from the balloon to the four corners of the box. Finally, spray the words drop on the side of the box to complete your Supply drop box.

Just like in the game, you could use these treasure chest favor boxes to store useful treats for guests to take with them to ensure survival.

*Rainbow Unicorn Smasher cake
This amazing tutorial by Cakes Step by Step channel shows you how to make a cake based on one of the most sought out items in the game – the Unicorn smasher. This is perfect if the birthday boy or girl is a fan of this item. Check out the video below.

*Loot Llama cake
Alternatively, you could make a Loot Llama cake by following the steps laid out by Frenchies bakery.

*Fortnite edible cake topper
If you are looking for an easier way to decorate your Fortnite birthday cake, an edible cake topper is a great way to do exactly that. All you need is the edible image topper which is available from places like Amazon or eBay and a frosted cake to place it on.  

*DIY Fortnite cupcake toppers and wrappers

The game provides plenty of interesting beverages such as Shield potions or Slurp juice. During gameplay, there are restaurants that players can enter and one of them is Uncle Pete’s Pizza place. You could make something simple like a Pepperoni pizza and label it “Uncle Pete’s special pepperoni pizza”.

Another food which is inspired by a restaurant in the game is burgers and fries. There is a restaurant in the game called Durr Burger. A simple burger and fries would work, but if you want to make a burger more like the mascot – check out this recipe below.

*Tacos
Yep, you guessed it! There are also taco shops in the game. We love this chicken taco recipe, but you could always experiment with your own recipe.

*Apples
To add some healthy options on the menu you could provide a bowl of apples. In the game players can eat apples to replenish their health.

The easiest thing you can do to keep everyone entertained with this theme is to have all guests play the Fortnite video game. For the sake of variety and to get people away from screens, here are a few different ways you could entertain your guests with.

If you’ve got some open space like a backyard or local park nearby you could grab a few dart guns and guests can play a target practice game or a nerf wars game.
